I opened the p12 file, besides the certificate, there is an extention portion with fields like "Authority Key Identifier", "Basic Constraint", "Netscape Comment", etc. What is the purpose for it? How to get rid of it? (or not to have it exported?)
Those are certificate extensions. My guess is that they are part of the certificate which is included inside the certbag of your PKCS#12 file. You cannot remove them, short of not including that certificate in the file.
I don't see why you wouldn't want them though, as they are standard cert extensions.
