Hey,
I was wondering why Firefox/Mozilla hasn't implemented an automatic (optional) MD5 sum of the downloaded file when a download finishes? It would be really helpful and if performance is a problem, again, optional. Plus it saves time if you forget to check it with a third party app (MD5 Checker, md5sum, etc). Firefox could probably do this while the download takes place, just after each bit is recieved.
