(Among other things, it's perfectly possible that different corporations in different countries might have similar names, e.g., "First National Bank", so, for example, we might have a "firstnationalbank.com" vs. a "firstnationalbank.co.uk"
... and, in passing, I should mention that anyone who suggests displaying the real name from the certificate to the user in the UI needs to find a solution to this problem. :-)
