Taking stock a little, Frank is asking for some input
into whether his suggestions for a draft 12 will be
adequate.

(I would say they are fine; my objections were mostly
theoretical, and the sky doesn't fall down if they
are ignored.)

What it really means is - reading between the lines
here - is that Frank wants to be able to efficiently
complete the policy and present it to the board as
the recommended and consensus-based compromise. But
he doesn't want to do that and then have a bunch of
discussions over points and intentions and expectations
occur *before the board*.

Which is fine and efficient; the idea is to present
the consensus, not expect the board to discover that
there is no consensus, or that there is still wide-
spread disagreement.

So are we at the point where the changes that Frank
has suggested are acceptable? Or is there still a
grave degree of concern with even those changes and
the resultant draft 12?
