I thought this function was dropped as it was found to be inferior.
That's why I have tried to raise interest in creating a *real* signature plugin.
Could that be of any interest to you?

Subject: window.crypto.signText

Hi all,

I am trying to sign a clear, plain text in Mozilla 1.0.4. The sign
dialog of Mozilla opens and asks me to choose certificate for the action
and I choose the one with an private key and valid and etc., but as a
response I get 'error:internalError' instead of a base64 encoded string.
Does anybody can help me ?

thanks in advance
A. Gionov
