I reduced my build environment to the bare minimum and I got Mozilla to build
fine.  I suppose configure was finding things in the PATH or LD_LIBRARY_PATH
that was breaking the build.

I am building on linux x86, 2.6.12-rc5-git10.

I've never thought at all about NSS.  I assumed Mozilla built and used NSS
that is in the CVS archive.  Is that not the case?
