Greeting, Ok, so I've finally gotten our iPlanet Directory Server 4.12 to accept a Versign cert and restart on ports 389 and 636. But, the directory absolutely refuses to respond to anybody attempting to bind securely. I verified through netstat and lsof that the ns-slapd process is indeed bound and listening to port 636. When using 'ldapsearch' in secure mode, I receive the following error: ldap_search: Can't contact LDAP server The slapd access log reports the following in conjuction with the above 'ldapsearch' attempt: [21/Feb/2001:15:01:23 -0800] conn=28 fd=43 slot=43 SSL connection from 127.0.0.1 to 127.0.0.1 [21/Feb/2001:15:01:23 -0800] conn=28 op=-1 fd=43 closed error -12199 (unknown) - B1 Does anybody have any clues?
