Hello all... I am writing to ask if anyone has found an adequate solution to the password aging/password expiration feature on an enterprise level. Our firm would like to implement (LDAP) password aging via the Directory Server, but all the info we are getting seems to point to the fact that neither the Enterprise Server, nor Communicator does anything intelligent with the LDAP password expiration information. You just can't get into your email anymore, or your web application denies access to resources. No helpful messages, nada. It appears our only recourse may be to write some combination of Perl/C using Net::LDAp and the SDK4 to batch-process the folks with expiring passwords and send them a notification email. We had a lead at Netscape... seems someone wrote a Perl script to do this, but they could not find a copy of it for us. Anybody have it? Has anyone worked with this (apparent) problem?
