Hi Niels,
I was wondering if you could help me..
I'm writing a program on a unix environment to change a user's password in
LDAP.
The users password are encrypted.
I ask the user to enter their old password for verification and the new
password they want.
I can do an LDAPMODIFY userpassword no problem, but the problem is I don't
know how to verify the user's supplied password against what is stored in
LDAP.
Andrew Cosgriff kindly suggested that I use the the C API function
ldap_bind... I have seen similar functions in LDAP documentation, but I
don't know how to call them and wether these functions are stored any where.
When I do a directory listing, I can only find ldapadd, ldapmodify, and
ldapdelete.
Environment is UNIX V5.0A...
Please reply to me as soon as you can..
