I have set a iPlanet Directory Access Router 2.1 using port no. 389 and which connected to two Directory Server (LDAP1 and LDAP2). It work fine but after LDAP1 (master) and LDAP2 were set replication, if LDAP1 was stopped, I cannot search or connect to port no. 389. Is that mean I should use other method to let LDAP1 and LDAP2 in sync? or any other method can do the Directory server load balancing and failover? Please help!!
