I've been trying to install cognos, which includes netscape directory server. The Cognos instructions indicate you should change the default port for the dir. server from 389 to 390, which I did. Now I can't connect to the NDS directory server from the console. It appears that the directory server is running on port 389 but the console thinks it's on 390.
