jpeg photo from file

hello,

I have some jpegphotos that I want to include in directory server. One
obvious way is to convert them into binary and then load.But it takes
really lo..ng time because I have number of entries.

I was thinking if I can give path to my file that resides on home
machine, will it work?

If yes,please direct me with the way.
