I have several entries in a directory that hava a cn in the format of "John A Smith [ABSDEF.12345]". Performing a search by cn, (cn=John A Smith [ABSDEF.12345]) , for those entries results in a No Such Object (32) error suggesting that the entry doesn't exist, which is not true. All other searches seem to work fine.
Any ideas why this format may be causing a problem and how to fix it? Modifying the data is not an option. Thanks, alex
