Hello, I am in the process of cleaning a very large LDAP database of unwanted users, but have discovered that removing entries from LDAP does nothing to reduce the size of the ldbm files utilized. I am guessing this is a 'feature' of btree databases like sleepycat's, but I would imagine that someone has figured out a way to compact such a database after unwanted entries have been removed.
Has anyone had any experience with this, or have any pointers on where to look? Thanks in advance, Joshua McNeese UNIX System Administrator Zonnet / Versatel BV
