I am running Solaris8 iDS5.0, each time my server need about 5min to stop. As there are always 30 threads waiting to stop. Now i want to upgrade it to iDS5.1, during the upgrade, my slapd must be starting to give a "admin" user authenication, and then it will automatically stop the slapd. As it will take a period of time to successful stop my slapd, the upgrade process will have error occur and after extracted all the files, the slapd cannot be started.
Anyone know how to solve this problem, please help. Thank you very much!!
