problem with the way attribute names are returned. If I use ldapsearch
to get an entry from a DS4 server, it displays the attribute names in
all lower case. Getting the same entry from a DS5.1 server shows the
name in mixed case eg: objectClass instead of objectclass. This new
behaviour is causing me grief with some of my scripts that expect the
attribute names to be all lower case.
I have been unable to find any reference to this change in any of the
docs. Is there a directory server parameter that will make the DS5.1
server return data in the old format? Any help greatly appreciated.
