There is no hard coded maximum number. The main factor here would be
the time it takes for the change to get from the master to the consumer.
If it takes too long, the consumer or the hubs at the end may receive
operations that are past it's changelog or tombstone trimming times.
Do you know at what versions (iPlanet and Netscape) the two directory servers
versions were identical ?
e.g. iPlanet V5.0SP1 = Netscape 6.01 ??
iPlanet 5.1 (no SP) is roughly the same as Netscape 6.0. I think they
made some of the same bug fixes we did for their SP1, so iDS 5.1SP1 is
very similar to NDS 6.02.
