I'm trying to access our university's-LDAP-directory from my Mozilla
Adressbook (moz 1.3b).
So I'm not sure what to write in the formfields for Base-DN and Bind-DN.

Name: My Server
Hostname: myserver.ourdomain.de
Base DN: ou=Users,dc=ourdomain,dc=de
Port number: 389
Bind DN: cn=myusername,ou=Users,dc=ourdomain,dc=de

Base DN: The directory level from which Mozilla starts searching down.
Bind DN: The dn of the user who wants to login (=username)
If a password is needed you'll get prompted. There you can see a checkbox "...Password Manager...". If you check it Mozilla remembers your password and you don't have to enter it again.

Thanks for your help, Roland. I finally got it to work.
When I finally found that Bind DN is for a kind of username, I was unsure what to enter exactly.
Seems that our server is reeeaaaally slow, so that often when I thought it didn't worked, he was just still thinking.

Greetings, Jan
