I was fortunate enough to find bug 116692. In perusing the comments, it sounds like the goal is to make this schema extension the official one for mozilla. Is this effort still ongoing? Also, when will support for the schema be implemented in the address book code?
I have my openldap server setup and noticed that the Mozilla address book doesn't see the following attributes:
homePostalAddress: postalAddress:
I'm using Netscape 7.1 (Moz 1.4) on Red Hat 8.0 but am seeing the problem on Netscape 7.02 on Windows as well.
Is this a bug? Exporting a local address book entry to ldif format seems to indicate that Mozilla does use these attributes. Yet they don't show up. The attributes show up just fine in Outlook so the attributes are definitely there.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
