Building on OSX?

Has anyone been able to get the LDAP C SDK to build on OSX? I have tried 
multiple times using different metods (download from CVS, download the 
distributed source, etc) and followed the directions at mozilla.org. It 
is failing each time with errors usually about directories not found...

I am sorry this is vague, but any tips or pointers would be much 
appreciated :) Just knowing if anyone has been successful would be nice 
to hear :)
