LDAP debugging in thunderbird

To make a short story:  LDAP worked in TB 0.6 and didn't after my 
upgrade to TB 0.7.  Please

I am attempting to debug the problem further. I am not seeing any LDAP 
messages going to my ldap server and need a way to turn on ldap 
debugging/logging within thunderbird. I have tried the "C:\>SET 
NSPR_LOG_MODULES=protocol:5 " method- but LDAP does not seem to be a 
valid protocol (strangly enough). Is there another method of logging 
LDAP "stuff" within thunderbird?
