NEED 2 WINDOWS ON SITE VISITORS SCREEN
AT SAME TIME....
ONE FULL-SCREEN BROWSER WINDOW..
ONE 1/4 SCREEN WINDOW

NEED THE 1/4 SCREEN WINDOW - ALWAYS ON TOP -
OF THE FULL-SCREEN BROWSER WINDOW BEHIND.

HAVE TRIED ONBLUR AND ONFOCUS COMMADS OF
JAVA SCRIPT...BUT DOES NOT PRODUCE AN
+ ALWAYS ON TOP + COMMAND

ONE SUGGESTION WAS : MODAL WINDOW ???

The only way to get it to stay on top is to have the
application digitally signed. If it's javascript you can use Modal
windows to keep the page from submarining. This of course
introduces other problems that may occur in differing browsers,
especially the Mac IE browser as it won't recognize a modal
window. I got a lot of error's from IE trying to use them so I quit and
just used the onBlur="this.focus()" trick in the body tag. This does
introduce other problems though in the case of form inputs for IE.
Effectively your taking the focus away when you click on the input
area making it impossible to use a chat applet inside the smaller window.
To date Modal windows are the most effective way to keep the
window in focus, however, the script to do this will need a little
work to make it compliant in all versions of IE.

IS THERE A FINAL ANSWER TO THIS - ALWAYS ON TOP -
COMMAN ????
