Validator-passing wrapper

I have converted the current Web page wrapper (the output--not the 
script) to CSS and validator-passing but ugly HTML 4.01 Strict.

The only problem is that I can't make the link border around the banner 
go away in Nav 4.x by using CSS only. I wouldn't want to resort to 
deprecated attributes.

CVS question:
Can I check out individual files from CVS without checking out an entire 
module?
