Do you know it installed correctly? Check the install.log and make sure
there were no errors installing the file or detected when registering the
chrome.

If that appears OK then there was probably some change in the chrome
registration stuff (again!). Maybe the contents.rdf files inside the chrome
archive are now in the wrong format or missing information?
