This is not the way to make RMS happy.

Then again, it means no cash, and might make things easier. I see no 
problem with this myself, and I wouldn't mind spiting RMS for a few 
giggles! >:D

Gerv, you don't mean to say that if it's not free, it's not going to be 
used? Then what about building on Win32? Why can't I use cygwin gcc for 
that? :)
