On moz.zope.org, the developer info and news links request a userid and 
password.
 From moz.zope.org/contribute, the bold Quality Assurance link is protected

I had no expectation that these 3 areas would be protected at this 
level.  I thought I'd get to read stuff and would need to log in to do 
work/make changes.

Not the same issue, but there's lots of dead links off 
moz.zope.org/contribute/hacking
