Calendar plug in dosn't work

I just download the Plug in and Mozilla told me to close the browser and 
restart it.  I did but the plug in doesn't work.  I get the following 
error message: The calendar cannot run due to the following error:
The ICAL Component is not registered properly.

Can any one help please.  Do I need to restart my computer as well?
  I am running on Win xp and Mozilla build ID: 2004081308.
