Nav 4.x has a really cool feature that allows you to paste an image from 
the clipboard into a mail message. It converts the clipboard bits (the 
image) into a jpg on the fly and then attaches the new jpg to the email! 
I use this to convert from screen shots to jpg - a bit cumbersome but it 
works. Also, you get to see the name of the new image, so you can then 
attach it to a bug report in Bugzilla...

Mozilla Mail should support this very useful feature as well, IMO.
