This is not the right forum for such a question, but the answer is
simple: The graphics files are not changed *at all*, the "Mozilla gif
files" etc. are simply labels that go along with Window's (I assume
that's what you're using) registry database. This simply tells what
program to run when you double-click on a graphic file. After mozilla
install, that program is mozilla. It is a bug that the registry is not
cleaned up on uninstall. Simply double-click on a jpg or gif and you
will be prompted to pick another program to load, since mozilla no
longer exists on your system.
Sorry you didn't like mozilla. Try again with newer versions.
