Using mozilla editor in an IDE project

Hello,   I have been looking at the IDL interfaces nsIEditor and nsIEditorShell to see how I can use it in an IDE. I am looking for help in adding syntax coloring support. Can you point me in the right direction?   Also, from reading the document, it appears that there can only be one editor in a window. Is this restriction going away soon?   Thanks, Praki
