This is a great idea. I have used the MSHTML editing tools extensivly and
they are very compelling. Bringing these tools to Mozilla would rock. One
thing that has been very cool from me was the ability to implement and
editor using IE 5.5's element behaviours. Basically, I was able to create my
own <editor> tags. So I easily reuse this code in any project. And as Mathew
had stated, you can throw away you word processor. Would any one be
interested in extending the editor project to do this? I'm not good with C
or C++ but I am damn handy with JavaScript and the DOM. Any takers?
