Yes this works, because the Netscape spellchecker implements mozilla's
nsISpellChecker interface.

FYI, the spellchecker distributed with Netscape 4.x and 6.x is licensed
by Netscape from a 3rd party, so I believe that Netscape pays for the
privilege of using/distributing this spellchecker to it's users.
I am aware of 2 mozilla spellchecker projects under way, one dealing
with open source aspell/pspell and another one using a different
spellchecker whose name escapes me right now.
