Composer is really nice. I am doing a large part of my writing in
composer, and it is such a better place for HTML editing that I can't
even begin to tell you how thankful I am. I'm seeing a few weirdnesses
and I am wondering if they are known bugs? I'd be happy to try and file
a useful test case, but I don't want to waste my time if these are old news.

I imported a document from front page, and it did weird things with
every quotation mark and apostrophe.

As I was using find/replace to fix the quote-weirdess, one time I
pressed the replace button, and it replaced the wrong characters.

If I use HTML mail, reply to a message, and delete some of the blank
(except for the quote bar) lines at the end of the original message in
my reply, I end up in this weird state where there is a quote bar stops
at the end of the quoted original, there is a blank space where I can
type my reply, and then past the blank space, past the end of the
document where I can select or type, there is a quote bar.

I swear that sometimes when I double click to select a word, it only
selects the first two characters of the word. Maybe the drag
recognition threshhold is too small?

RFEs

I'd love the insertion point to be preserved, even if it is just at the
paragraph level, when I switch from normal mode to html source mode.

I wish I could double click an existing document and have it open up
straight into composer. If I had that, then I could make a "blank page"
document and also solve my wish of being able to get straight to the
composer from a freshly booted machine without having to go through the
browser. I don't know how you do this, since it is clearly wrong to pop
into the composer on the double click of a random html document.
