Certainly it's possible -- someone just has to do it. :-)
It would be fairly straightforward for someone to make an XPI package
which did that. You could look at the current code which goes to the
W3C validator (see nsValidateCommand in ComposerCommands.js) though
since the W3C page is a web-based validator, they probably wouldn't
share much code.
