Thanks, Manos.  This is the first useful response I've had . . . 
and an absolute surprise.  

Where else in the world, I wonder, does "print preview" offer 
this option? And why should it be under preview and not under 
the main print menu? Maybe I've missed something, but it seems 
to me this is a really good way to conceal it from prying eyes . 
. . I think I'd consider this a bug, but maybe I'm missing 
something.

Also, why does Mozilla's editor claim to set the margins at 1/2 
inch and actually print at 3/4?
