Would you like to actually address anything I said? So far you have not
addressed anything I said, and THAT fact is certainly black and white. ;)

Two things, I am no conservative right-winger, I am "right" in the sense
that I support reason, rights and capitalism.(and western culture with its
beginnings in Aristotle)

Second, to say that I see things in black & white is a complement to me. :)
I do not follow the philosophy of Plato in which it tries to make reality
out to be an ambiguous mess.

> Ever consider that *real* *pressure* on the corporations is *often* the

Why would you even entertain the thought that I would support, or be
complacent to, corps in mistreating employees? Straw man. I support free,
non-coersive SOCIAL pressures in making changes in employment
practices.(among other things) Unions are a good example of that type of
pressure.

Just because I support capitalism doesn't mean I look the other way in
business practices. ;)

> Nobody is ultimately interested in shutting down companies, nor do they

I honestly think you are mistaken. In this case the matter is not
necessarily to shut down companies but regulating free trade.

The article is clearly against the setting up of business internationally
and in poor countries, which is a concrete aspect of capitalism. To oppose
that type of practice and then use the term "grass roots capitalism" is a
capitulation in the least.

You assume I cannot see the "other side". There is no evidence supporting
this statement, it is arbitrary and therefore cannot even be entertained.

The only reason there is even any "pulling" going on is because our mixed
economy allows both sides to gain and lose momentary political power over
one other. Compromise and "push-pull" are necessary only because people
think those are the only options.
