Try Nvu,

www.nvu.com (or was it .org?)

no matter, the main thing is it is based on composer and it good.
The owner is placing the code back into the composer filebase too..

Subject: Question: Netscape Composer

Have there been cleaner versions of Compser - ones that don't
kick out so much superfluous HTML code?

Also, the version I'm using always puts in a "nbsp&" after the <body >
tag. I would like this not to be the case.
And you have to manually insert tags to there won't be a border
around the document (insert <body border="0" leftmargin="0"
topmargin="0" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0"> )
That sort of thing.

I guess what I'm asking is if there have been updates
to this otherwise pretty nice wysiwyg editor.

Alex
