Hi -

We're planning to build a multimedia application with an embedded
browser on linux. We've played with the gtkTest application and
noticed the following:

o the embedded browser does not pick up plugins (?)
o font preferences

Plugins
How does one enable plugins (we need flash and a couple of other
plugins to use this successfully)? Noted that dist/bin/mozilla picks
up the plugins properly. Has anyone created an embedded browser which
can handle plugins?

Fonts
I noticed that www.mozilla.org rendered quite differently, picking
different fonts, etc. How can one instruct the embedded browser to use
certain preferences? Since this can be precisely specified with CSS
its not a show-stopper.

Are there other bits which affect rendering and content-types which
behave differently in an embedded context?

Any and all help appreciated.

Thank You
