One thing which puzzles me about these two graphs (and this seems to be reproducable) is why hitting the same url over and over again will shoot the memory usage up to ~30K within the first 5 hits, whereas hitting completely different urls takes about 50 hits to reach that same memory consumption level?  This seems counterintuitive to me.
