Session History keeps track of urls on a per window basis
only until the browser window is up and running. Session History
does not persist data between sessions. Global History keeps track of
all urls visited in all windows and uses mork database for persistence
between sessions.
Global History keeps track of time stamp, visit count etc... SH does not
track these info. Global History expires after X days. Right now SH
just keeps growing.
Global History data is accessible thro' the History window in mozilla.
SH accessible thro' Back/Forward/Go menus in mozilla.
