Tracy, It looks like you've taken over what Paul was doing. I think the suggestion I sent him applies here too. An alternative to what I suggest below is to add a newsgroup or alias specifically for these announcements and let interested parties subscribe if they choose. Either way, I think it would really be helpful if you took action to make it easier for folks to filter out these test status notices (and I *do* appreciate that you do the tests and let folks who care know about the results!). Paul, I think it would be helpful if you would always use the exact same subject line for these postings so that they would appear in one and only one thread. That way those people reading the newsgroup but disinterested in these smoketest status posts could more easily ignore them. You might automate this or simply use copy/paste each time you compose the subject line. Thanks, John.
