It turns out this isn't so hard.  Just needed to remove all my old
nsIDocumentLoaderObserver messages and use the new OnStatusChange, etc.

However, How do I get status on the individual requests in a page?
Let's say I load a page with three images.  How do report the status of
each of the fetches: the html page, and the three images?
