Ok, thanks very very much. I did a nm check of the libxpcom.so in the
mozilla source tree that I compiled and it has all the necessary exports,
however, the one in my /usr/lib directory contains no exports at all!! I
installed Mozilla 9.4 from RPM's I downloaded from mozilla.org --
strange!
