Right, those are all things that need to be fixed. the cursor change 
problem is a problem in the the cocoa widget impl, for some reason the 
view will only process mouseMove events if it is the focussed view, 
which is wrong and i don't quite know how to fix that.

you'll get native scrollbars if you set a pref, but there are still some 
problems with them (scrollwheel is suboptimal with native scrollbars on, 
etc).

you're right comboboxes don't work at all. that's a cocoa widget bug i 
think.

haven't noticed re: slow animated gifs.

do we want to use bugzilla to track these issues or should we use 
sourceForge?
