Well, i'm scott, the project co-ordinator at the XEDE project. To give you a little information on what we're doing...
XEDE will be a desktop environment using gecko for window decoration along with other bits and bobs. We're initally designing a small WM called XIX that will have XPIDL setup so that XEDE can communicate with it.
I'm fairly new to having a look at the internals of mozilla so i would appreciate any tips you guys have to offer on what would be required for us to have an initial prototype to test the WM with.
