Althoug i am a mozilla follower, but Gecko may be a little overkill right now. But i believe it will be smaller and easier to use in the close future.i think a java app may do the trick for you better for now. it has a very small footprint and very easy to embed.

Hi,

  It may be a strange question, but is there any project that build a
lightweight DHTML engine based on gecko? The current mozilla emb.
including too many things, but in most of the application all we need
is just dhtml rendering(including javascript execution).

  I am wondering if there is already someone doing this? if not, maybe
I can form such a prohject to do so.

my goal: * extremly lightweight C++ libaray, easy to integrate into an
application
* support DHTML, CSS, DOM

thanks.
