Hi,

At present I am looking for a rendering widget (all else being OK)I am looking at embedding mozilla to render application information. I am not looking for the full functionality of a browser, just the rendering capabilities. I would need to be control the pop-up menus, callbacks, etc. to call back into my application.
I am interested to know if anybody has embedded Mozilla for such purposes before.
Yes, stuff like this is the focus of our embedding APIs. You need to provide a couple of details:
1) do you want to design your UI in XUL, or just have an HTML rendering widget/browser
Pass. The windows version is written in MFC, so mfcembed would seem to be a good place to look.
2) do you want to embed using GTK/MFC? There are wrappers (gtkembed and mfcembed) that are easy to use as html-only embedding environments.
Browsing through the resources online it seems that getting to the point of understanding if embedding Mozilla is going to give me what I am looking for, will take a lot of effort. Is there any examples / resources that anybody can recommend.
Thanks,
Bruce.
