When you register the files as installed chrome the right popup comes the first time. That is enough for me, but I want to know anyway what goes wrong, when you just load a file.

But well, that's peanuts.

I've the same problem with mozilla v1.6
But what do you mean by registering files as installed chrome ? Is there a simple way to register an embedded distribution folder ?

see the chrome folder of mozilla...it contains the installed-chrome.txt and the chrome.rdf file. by adding a line to installed chrome.txtx it gets installed into the chrome.rdf file at Mozilla startup, and you can access them via the chrome:// urls with more rights internally. You can edit the chrome.rdf directly as well, but that is not recommended. See the tutorial on xulplanet.

yes I already known that. sorry in fact what I was wondering is which line must we add to fix first blank popup ?

thanks.

add the document, or document package the documetn bringing up the popup is in into tho the chrome.rdf or better the installed-chrome.txt. The exact line depends on the location and kind of the package. You don't have to change anything on the document files themselves.
