Hi ! i've been working on Mozilla since several days. I'd like to create a component that could retrieve many informations about the content of web pages of a site (for instance: all texts rendered with their colours, styles like bold, underlined ..., sizes calculated, images and their size calculated for display, links....) and no javascript . According to the documentations, i should use Xpcom but my component must not display any web page in any window. So, is it possible to use Gecko to have these informations prepared and calculated of a web page (given a url) without displaying this page in a window ?
