What is best way to embed Mozilla for Windows?
I forgot about my part of my question ;)
I want to embed FireFox, so I searched around some sources, and SDKs, and I found some, but I dont know differences between them.
The Firefox application distributed by Mozilla.org cannot be embedded. The gecko libraries are statically linked into the Firefox executable.
What is CREATURE, what is POLARBEAR?
These are just the names of some tinderbox machines.
I see there is gecko-sdk - is this good SDK for my needs?
Ideally, you should code to the Gecko SDK if you wish to buid an executable that only links to "frozen" symbols and interfaces provided by Gecko. You'd care about that if you were trying to use the version of Gecko that your users may have already installed on their computer. I recommend shipping a copy of Gecko with your application instead since support for embedding the existing version from the OS is very poor and limited. Not enough interfaces are frozen to make this approach all that useful in practice. Eventually, we hope to make it better.
